Panama Hacienda La Esmerelda Landrace

We are lucky to again have some exceptional coffee from Hacienda La Esmeralda in Panama. This year we have Landrace Blend. We only have a small supply, so we are taking pre-orders to ensure you get the freshest roast.

In the words of La Esmerelda, “Landrace Blend is a mix of coffees that are part of a research project started in 2007. For this research, 400 coffee accessions were planted in our El Velo farm and, since then, every year, each variety is processed and evaluated individually in order to find new exceptional coffee varieties. After the yearly evaluation is done, the accessions are mixed to create our Landrace Blend. Light floral notes with hints of berries, citrus, mango and peach.”

We found tastes of caramel, sweet, citrus and pavlova.

We are taking pre-orders and when we get a healthy order book we will roast a new batch, this way you get the best.

Varietals: Mixed with Laurina, Pacamara, and SL-34 and Geisha.
